Q: Are there any known products that will cross react with the test?
A: There are no known products that will cross react with Cozart®'s Solids Tests. Details of cross reactivity can be found on the Technical Specification sheet.

Q: Are the tests evidential?
A: No, Cozart®'s Rapid Solids Tests are presumptive field tests and as such are not admissible as evidence in court. Samples need to be submitted under Chain of Custody to an approved laboratory for evidential testing. Laboratories capable of undertaking this work are:

Q: Has the test been approved for use by the UK Home Office?
A: Yes, In February 2005 the Home Office announced the approval of Cozart®'s Cocaine Solid Rapid Test for use by Police in the following situations:

- Minor possession with personal use
- Presumptive guilty pleas

Q: Will the test also detect crack cocaine?
A: Yes, using the Solids/Resins sampling procedure it is possible to detect crack cocaine. Details can be found on the instruction sheet.

Q: Can the tests be used to detect trace amounts of drug?
A: Yes, the tests can be used to swab areas such as toilets, tables and mirrors where traces of drugs may be found. Details of this technique can be found on the instruction leaflets.
